dear eva, i have yet to read stieg's novels, but they've been on my list of books i want to read for some time. when i read about your treatment by stieg's greedy father and brother, especially considering you'd been stieg's partner for 32 years, i was furious. thus, i felt moved and have sent a donation to assist you in your countersuit. good luck to you, eva. people from around the world are sending good thoughts your way. (p.s. have ordered stieg's books and will be reading them soon -- with both authors in mind.)

I loved the books, but i don't see any need to support the family by buying them. I got them from my local public library.

I then donated $30 ($10 per book) to the fund for Eva.

I hope there is a good outcome. It is so sadly ironic that the books are about how women are treated, and the treatment of Eva is no exception.
Good luck, don't give up!

Have read and enjoyed the first two novels without knowing "the situation". Hope the many contributions will enable you to continue with the series as well as pay attorney fees. If all else fails this is fodder for a novel all your own. I'll be looking for it. Support and hugs, Eva, from the US.

I was sad to see the turn of events in your life. I thought us Nordic people always took care of our mates through the law of the land. I find it impossible to think that Stieg wrote almost 2,000 pages without speaking to you about the books he was writing. I'm looking forward to reading the fourth book that you'll help finishing, I hope very soon. A book translated by the very capable Steve Murray with any interference of the London publishers.
